The Souhegan Valley Chorus had a "float" in the Milford Labor Day parade.  This is probably the largest parade in the area with national political candidates participating.  We borrowed a pick-up truck from a friend and decorated it, then loaded a PA system in the back to play recordings of the chorus.  Some chorus members lined up behind the truck, carrying signs in the style of the Burma-Shave signs. At the end of the parade, Dan got in line with some parked Shriner's mini-cars.
Wednesday night's moon was almost full.  I took a hand-held picture of it with the camera's ×12 zoom. This is possible thanks to the SteadyShot® optical image stabilization.
