The goose fish is flat and about five feet long. It weighs more than fifty pounds. Like the angler fish, the goosefish attracts prey with a the thin piece of skin that waves back and forth just above the huge mouth. When another fish comes close to investigate the bait, he's swallowed in one gulp. When swimming near the surface, the goosefish will even eat ducks and other sea birds. This is the American goosefish, which lives in the Atlantic Ocean from Nova Scotia to the Carolinas.
