Souhegan Valley Chorus, in its 31st season, is a community chorus in the Milford-Amherst (New Hampshire) area performing a variety of choral music from pops to light classics under the direction of Jennifer K. Erdody. Membership is open, without audition, to singers from high school age through seniors who enjoy choral music. Fifty people come from towns in and around the Souhegan Valley for the weekly rehearsals which are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. usually in the Milford Middle School (see map below) music room. Two concerts are presented each season—one in December and one in May— as well as participating in the Milford Holiday Stroll, which takes place the first Saturday in December.
